The origin of the name

At first, I was lost. I went with the contraction of my first and last name, which gave me Beaum. I found it a classic way of doing things, but I still did my research on this word. I came across the surname De Beaum, which is the suffix used at the time for the De Beaumont family. It is a family rich in history in France and England since the 10th century. In short, this name represents family, elegance, the past but also the present, and of course myself since I am behind the creations of this boutique.

Inspiration and creativity

Inspiration is an infinite phenomenon, always ready to be stimulated by what surrounds me.

My creativity manifests itself in different ways, depending on the moment. A simple burst of light, a particular shape, a feeling, whatever it may be, if it speaks to me, it inspires me. Often, I capture this moment with my camera, my mobile phone or by scribbling in a notebook. Sometimes I forget the original nature of what I am looking at to be inspired by it and create a completely new idea.

Reading a book about Leonardo da Vinci taught me a valuable lesson: attentive observation. This means really observing your environment at every moment, maintaining a constant gaze on the things around you while trying to understand them. It is important to take the time to analyze shapes, colors, and natural arrangements. This way of seeing and experiencing life brings me closer to the present and reminds me of Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter. She is there, looking at something with her head tilted upwards. I often find myself in this attitude. I'm often in this state too... In short, what best describes my creativity and my inspiration is to live each moment fully by noticing all the details of what surrounds me.

Creation by musical stimuli

Often, I put on music, which is stimulating for me. I close my eyes, take the time to relax, then I imagine ideas, I see my ideas, I see myself realizing these ideas. All this can be related to music or not at all. Sometimes, it is the music that inspires me, and other times, it just accompanies me. This is what is called mental imagery. I often use this meditation technique to think about my current creations but also those of the future.
